This is a bakery but definitely not a baker. What a embarrassment of a cake specially since the person it was for was with me when I picked it up so he saw first hand what was happening at the fault of the baker. I should have known better when she said she put sticks in it because it started sliding then on the way to the car we saw it was jiggling like jello, that should have been a sign. If she knew it was sliding & had to put sticks in it which was pretty tacky by the way & it didn't work anyway, why didn't she remake it so it didn't slide? So you'll never guess what happened next, just down the road the top layer slid half way off the cake, by the time we got home just minutes away the middle layer also slid off, Now I can see the filling outside the cake, they didn't use the filling ordered instead they used that strawberry gel they glaze strawberries with which is the wrong thing to fill a cake with anyway & the reason it's sliding apart, then I notice the cake, even the cake is wrong, it should have been a strawberry cake not a yellow cake. So not only is the cake completely ruined by how they made it, it's not even the right cake or filling. I called to tell her of it slid

Order a cake for a 65th birthday and the cake we recieve was a total disaster. What was order was a strawberry cake, with a Bavarian cream and strawberry jam filling. What was recieved was a dense yellow cake, what a very thin layer of cream, and strawberry glaze. This caused the cake to be unstable, so they put three skewers through the cake, which just tore up the cake. When contacting them they stated they would give a refund, upon arriving back at the business, they stated they needed cake so they could fix it. Offer to show them picture, at which time they refused the refund. It didn't even look like anything on the site. So in my opinion if you don't want a mediocre cake go elsewhere.

Place looks clean but this is not good bread. As wild as it sounds, Cardenas has better bread. Super dry and flavorless dough. They use same dough through out their bread.

Delicious bread, always fresh and at a good price too. The cakes are also amazing! I've ordered several times and they're soooo delicious and they are always willing to accommodate pick up times.

Ordered 4 dozens of bread a day before an event, picked up bread next day. The bread was freshly baked, nice and soft and delicious! This is my go to place .I highly recommend 👌

This is a great panaderia. The quality ingredients used shine in the bread you take home. It is a small place, they do not have a vast array of breads, but their quality is AMAZING. I would recommend their bolillo, and their conchas any day.

If it wouldn't have been for my girlfriend I probably would have never found such delicious bread in SB! I highly recommend it and always will. Grandma is so kind and such a loving person such a welcoming place!

It has the best Mexican sweet bread I've had so far in this city. The customer service isn't great. The people usually dilly dally after they see you're ready to pay. Other than that it's a cute little place with great conchas polvorones, and jalapeño cheese bread.
